Client Feedback on the Wheelchair TAXI service & Wheelchair Hire

Indira Krishna Murthy says:  “My husband had lost a leg to gangrene and since he was recuperating well, was to be sent home soon. This would have been a joyous occasion after the months of illness and anxiety we had been through. However new doubts and fears surfaced. How would I be able to get him into the car? How would I be able to bring him into the house? The article mentioned a phone number, I called.  A wonderfully reassuring voice on the line took down the address and the time which we needed the van. “Of course the driver would assist the patient into the house.” “Of course the wheel chair would be pushed up a ramp into the van.” “Do you have a wheelchair available for the patient, or would you like to hire one? “  Here was someone who understood the needs of a disabled person, and my fears of the immediate problem of transporting my husband home dissolved.  Ramesh, who brought the Mobility India van to the hospital, waited patiently while I finished all the formalities of checking out of the hospital. He came up to the room with the wheel chair, and helped the patient onto it with help from the attendant at the hospital. The van was brought to the gate, a ramp was extended out of the van within seconds, and the wheelchair was rolled onto this ramp and into the van. The chair was secured inside, to prevent it from rolling when the van was in movement. Once home, very gently he was rolled out in the wheelchair, and brought into the house. Only when he was comfortably inside the house did the question of payment come up. The wheel chair could be returned when it was no longer needed and it could be rented for a small monthly fee. I was very touched, for one does not normally get things done without the monetary aspects being handled first.”

Indu Ramesh- the service made my wife mobile to visit specialists.  Even the driver of the vehicle was polite, very considerate and helpful.  It was a great experience.  Even the rates fixed for this service as for all other services are very reasonable.
