All children
have the right to education as future citizens of our country.
Children with cognitive problems (understanding) may not benefit
with regular teaching method. In such a case, it is only
appropriate that they be provided with education in other
meaningful methods. This entails changes in curricular decisions
and classroom arrangements, provision of aids and appliances,
appropriate teacher preparation. To ensure that the children
with disabilities have appropriate learning environment and the
teachers have to skills to facilitate the children, Mobility
India conducted 4 days training program on functional management
of children with disabilities in classroom environment for
coaching class teachers.
All the
participants enjoyed the training programme. The training
sessions included –
