Fitting is an important task in the wheelchair service. The parts that need to be checked are the foot rest height, foot rest angle, seat depth, seat width, seat bone test, effect on mobility of on backrest height and angle, back wheel position and straps.

Quality check is a series of checks are made on the wheelchair parts to ensure that they are in good condition and safe for usage by the individual. Three important things that should be checked are that:

·   The wheelchair should move in a straight line.

·   There should be no strange sounds.

·   The breaks should not be tight.
