Hands On Workshop On “Ischial Containment Transfemoral Socket Designing”

Workshop Objective : The workshop aims at providing hands on input to the participants in the following area of socket designing of Transfemoral amputations-

•  Clinical assessment and prescription

•  Measurement &casting technique

• Modification technique

• Socket fabrication and trials

There will be ample opportunity to interact with the therapy team during the assessment and prescription sessions. Ample opportunity to work with the service users (persons with amputations) directly.

Resource person:

• Soikat Ghosh Moulic, Asst. Dirtector- Rehab services

• Anil Singh, Asst. Director- Training 

The participants, preferably clinical Prosthetist, could get an appropriate opportunity to practise the above techniques with minimum use of casting devices.
