Course Description

Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) is a paramedical and engineering based health care profession which deals with habilitation and rehabilitation of physically impaired individuals.

Once qualified, a Prosthetist & Orthotist can work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic service to address issues such as polio, amputation, rheumatoid arthritis, cerebral palsy, diabetes, stroke etc. The P&O professionals require to be highly trained and skilled to help people with disabilities to return to an active life by fitting them with appropriate orthoses and prostheses.

Eligibility
10+2 from recognized Central/State Board or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics(PCB or M) with not less than 40% aggregate marks in the relevant science subjects.
International students (Foreign Nationals) can also apply.
Candidates should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December during the year of admission.
