Sensitization Program in
Chamrajnagar
A
sensitization program was organized for construction of
accessible toilets in Kasaba Hobli on 20th and 21st
of Mar-09, illustrating the need of accessible toilets through
street plays in 4 villages of different Gram Panchayaths by a
professional team ‘Ranga Jangama’. 500 community members and
Self Help
Group members participated in the program. The construction
work is being initiated in these villages under the intervention
of the Self Help Group members and Gram Panchayath members.
Mahasangha members of Self Help Group said-“The
sensitization program was very informative and has made a very
good impact on creating a need of construction of toilet. The
projection of the concept through street plays was a very good
and holistic approach.” |
