Training for Community
Education Centre Tutors:
A follow- up
training program on classroo m
management of children with disability was organized for
Community Education Centre (CEC)
tutors in Chamrajnagar on 31st March ‘09. The tutors
shared their implementation experiences of the previous training
they attended. Mobility India’s training team conducted the
session. 50 CEC Tutors, Education Coordinators; Health & Data
Co-coordinators participated in the program.
 The
tutors were trained to facilitate disabled children in CEC
centers in terms of body balance, sitting postures,
communication, attention and concentration. The trainers also
explained about the types of Cerebral Palsy. Activities and
games were conducted to improve the reasoning skills in
implementing procedures at CECs.
